Our Homes are Better
All of our new home construction is built upon a system of engineered beams and joists. This system not only adds strength and stability to your new home it also speeds up build time and uses less material.
To keep those tough New England winters out, all the windows supplied are Harvey double pane windows.
Electrical, plumbing and structured wiring are installed utilizing state-of-the-are techniques and materials. We go beyond simply meeting the building codes. We work with you to ensure your home has all the conveniences that you would ever need, from electrical outlet placement to whole home entertainment, computer and alarm wiring.
To keep you comfortable while you are enjoying your new home we install in all our houses top quality Trane heating and cooling units.
To finish off your new home and help you enjoy those warm summer evenings, all homes include rear decks, which are constructed out of durable, low maintenance composite decking such as Trex or Timbertech.
The Building Process
The building process starts with a meeting between you and WB Construction. The purpose of this meeting is to listen to your needs and desires, so we can begin to develop a program for your specific housing needs. We will create a rough drawing in preparation for a second meeting.
These plans are almost always modified after a second meeting, and a budget developed to construct the home.
At a third meeting, the budget is formalized and a set of drawings are completed along with the home specifications and contract to build.
The building process normally takes between four to six months to be completed based upon the size and complexity of the structure.
During the building process there will be meetings to decide final designs for cabinetry, electrical, interior trim & built-ins, painting and floor covering selections. There are numerous selections and details to be decided and it is our job to make the process as stress free as possible.
